Inspired by an afternoon spent at La Jolla Shores Beach, this scene features a wispy-edged triangular cotton fluff-ball of a cloud floating languidly in an otherwise clear blue sky as aqua-green waves below it roll gently in to shore. The wet sand reflects the blue sky, and the dry sand shimmers in shades of soft beige, purple and orange.  

Emerging from the sand with jagged wet tops glistening in the sunshine, three dark brown rocks form the points of another triangle which anchors the composition.
